Dendra necklace | n.88
Inspirations - The name Dendra comes from ancient Greek: tree, branching. Its form belongs to a primitive, dense vegetation predating any human presence. The rectangular bail marks the point of contact between that organic world and the human hand: the first geometry, the first deliberate form to emerge from the natural.
The piece - Necklace in 925 silver with an organically shaped, plant-inspired pendant, featuring a rich surface texture that contrasts with the geometric, engraved bail. The lower section is articulated.
Fit - The pendant of this necklace sits fairly high, naturally following the shape of the neck as it gradually tapers to a fine point. It is suited to being worn alone or layered with other necklaces.
Craftsmanship - Hand-sculpted in wax, cast using the lost-wax technique. Reproduced through a rubber mold and cast using the lost-wax technique for each order.
