Anemonia band ring M | n.63
The Collection - Anemonia originates from the observation of the concentric, never fully regular geometries that characterize marine creatures, the way sea urchins and starfish build their own shell by accretion, letting chance draw a symmetry that is never perfect. Mirror-polished spheres, set against a sandblasted, matte background, translate this irregular accumulation into silver, catching the light with every movement.
The Piece - Medium-height band ring in 925 silver, entirely covered in mirror-polished raised spheres set against a sandblasted background, following the technique typical of the collection. The inside is polished.
Wearability - The band's medium height gives it a balanced presence on the hand, suited both to being worn alone and stacked with other rings.
Craftsmanship - Each sphere that decorates the Anemonia pieces is applied by hand, individually, while the model is still in wax, before casting in silver. This manual step makes every piece slightly different from the others in the spacing and arrangement of the raised forms. In this process the spheres are mirror polished, while the background remains sandblasted and matte, heightening by contrast the brilliance of the raised details.
